Well the Governor just extended our Shelter in Place to May 4th.. May the 4th be with you...
My thoughts are still unclear as I am processing this, but I can tell you, that this is hard folks.
I'm cooped up, I'm tired, I'm irritated, I'm mad, honestly I think I am feeling all the feelings. In all this darkness I do have gratitude. I'm thankful my husband is still able to work (even though its scary as all shit) I'm thankful for my home that has plenty of room. I'm thankful for our health.
My heart goes out to all the Nurses, Doctors, Healthcare workers, and everyone on the front lines. My heart goes out to all the pregnant women. My heart goes out to all the children that don't understand whats going on. My heart hurts for the kids that relied on school lunches to eat.
This is a dark season we all are in. I am preaching to the choir when I say this --- We need to try to find the positives and look for the Joy like Rachel Hollis would say! THIS IS NOT EASY. But if we are going to come out on top after this is all over, our attitudes are going to be the lead force for that.
xoxo
